Please note, though, that the Freddie Mac survey forms are circulated to origination companies on Mondays and most responses are completed and sent to Freddie Mac by Tuesday.  This week MBS prices have fallen about 14/32nds, or 44 basis points, since Tuesday, following comments from Fed Chief Bernanke Wednesday morning.  The drop in MBS prices has caused mortgage rates to rise around 0.125% from Tuesday.
